Dental implants are titanium screws which are fixed into the jaw, and a bridge of false teeth is then attached on top of the implants to provide a natural looking tooth replacement.
As well as being aesthetically pleasing, dental implants are a good alternative to dentures, depending on your unique needs. We love dental implants because they give our patients the confidence to eat, smile, and laugh without a second thought.
Generally it should take approximately 3 months - this is because removal of existing teeth and placement of implants and temporary bridge is done on the same day, and then long term bridge is fitted 3 months later.
While you definitely will not feel the procedure at all regardless of what type is used, some dental offices offer different forms of anesthesia, some of which can render you unconscious for the entire procedure. However, this is not normally necessary for the installation of dental implants.
Implants start from £2600 or £57.50 per month (3rd party finance)
*Please note we do not offer dental implants on NHS

This is when we assess the state of your jawbone and gum where the tooth (or teeth) might be missing or lost.
We’ll take an X-ray scan of the area which allows us to get an accurate evaluation of the area where the dental implants are needed. We’ll then make an appointment to place the implant.
Implants are placed into the jawbone and a temporary bridge is fixed and left for about 2-3 months.
During this time new bone grows around the implant, securing it in a process called osseointegration. This stage is completely pain free with the use of modern anaesthesia.
After allowing the implants to heal we can then produce and place a long term bridge or crown depending on whether you have a single or multiple implants . This is usually around 3 months after placing the implants
